My husband had fallen and had a cut above his eye that would not stop bleeding. He was taken to the hospital because I could not lift him. He has Parkinson’s and was taken by ambulance to the emergency. [Another time] my husband needed help again getting up. Life Alert came quickly and took his vitals and asked if he wanted to go to the hospital. He said no even though his heart rate was irregular. We signed a request not to be taken.

I had a biopsy done on my leg. When I changed the bandage, it wouldn’t stop bleeding. I called Life Alert and they sent the fire rescue squad who stopped it. About one hour later it started bleeding again. My son took me to the emergency room and we were there for hours. By morning, it was bleeding again and I called Life Alert and they took me to the ambulance and to the hospital. I stayed there for three days and had a blood transfusion.

I was coming in the front door using my walker chair and I fell backwards. I pushed my Life Alert button and they were here promptly. They called my son and the fire department. They got here first and got me on my feet. Life Alert attendants got me to the chair and checked me out. They bandaged my elbow (only injury) and made sure I was okay. They were really nice and caring.

I was outside in the heat of the day working too hard in my condition to clean the doorway and entry to my house. I began to feel weak and dizzy, so got to a bench nearby. No one was outside to hear my call for help, so I pushed the Life Alert button! They received the signal, but couldn’t hear me and I couldn’t hear them either. Then the EMS team arrived and saved the day. My family is out of state, so Life Alert gives all of us a peace of mind!

My fault for trying to change clothes during commercials. I was rushing to change clothes and fell and called [Life Alert]. They were here in less than 10 minutes and got me up. All was well, so no danger. Wonderful people and the man stayed on the line with me the whole time.

I fell going into the bathroom and hit my head on a marble step going into the shower. I bust my head open and had a lot of bleeding. I pushed my Life Alert but the box is in the kitchen so I couldn’t respond to it. However, the paramedics came and wrapped my head, and took me to the emergency.

My mom fell in the middle of the night going to the bathroom and I didn’t hear her, so she pressed her [Life Alert] button. Then the lady over the speaker woke me up and then I saw my mom on the floor. She knew what to do. Great help, thanks!

I woke up one morning and my right hand had gout. I couldn’t transfer from the bed to my wheelchair. I have used Life Alert to help me in the bathroom twice and both times was positive. I was embarrassed and they assured me not to be. They were here in no time and took me to the hospital.

I fell late in the evening after coming home from the hospital, a few days earlier after having back surgery. I didn’t have much muscle control. Life Alert got the paramedics to come to my house and also called my daughter.

The minute I woke up, I was dizzy and started retching. I managed to get on the floor and grab the phone, but was unable to dial because I was so extremely dizzy and could not focus. Every time I tried to move, I could not. I probably laid there about 10 minutes before I thought to push the [Life Alert] help button, so I did.
