I had a heart attack and the doctor said I was dying. [Life Alert] saved my life! After two separate heart procedures, a month later, my children gave me Life Alert because I lived alone. When I called [Life Alert], they came on right away. I was having a bad allergic reaction to some new medicine. [Rescue] ran two scans on my heart and were very calming and informative about my current condition. I was so thankful they came. I decided to not go to the emergency room at that time. [Life Alert] couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding!

Thank you for this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation for all of [Life Alert’s] help. I had polio at age 14 (1952) and now deal with post-polio syndrome. I have increased difficulty doing everything! So, mid-December, my hyper-extended knee locked and I could not walk or sit. After struggling for some while, I hit my Life Alert button and was assured that help was on the way and then I passed out. Minutes later, the paramedics had arrived as well or a neighbor and my son. I suffered no ill effects and am most grateful!

While getting into bed, I lost my footing and started to slide down with my back pressed against the bed. I could not stop sliding down until I landed on the carpeted floor. I tried with great effort but could not get up. My phone was out of reach. Only one thing to do—press my [Life Alert] pendant. Life Alert came to my rescue.

My husband fell recently (soft landing) and I wasn’t able to help him get up. I pushed the [Life Alert] button and help came within a very short period of time. The [Life Alert] person on the other end stayed on until help arrived. [EMTs] were able to get my husband back in bed. Thank you.

Life Alert was a big help when my mother fell on the bottom of her garage steps. [Life Alert] was able to relay information about my mom’s medications, so we could concentrate on her.

I was very pleased with the [Life Alert] response to my call for help when I fell and couldn’t get up. The police were most helpful. All contacts on my emergency list were called and recalled when the [Life Alert] responders determined I was okay. All persons contacted were impressed with the [Life Alert] callers who were very kind and courteous. All were very appreciative of the call that all was okay.

I used my Life Alert 6-8 times. The [Life Alert] person answered the call was courteous, helpful and caring. I felt secure talking to them. They made me feel I was not alone. [Life Alert] kept coming back on the phone to talk to me. I hope everyone that lives alone has a Life Alert. Thank you all!
